The days of Photoshop's 99% market share on image editing are long over. What are you using these days?
I find myself using figma.com more than anything. It works well for rapid prototyping.

Gimp for photos, davinci resolve for video, ableton for audio :)

haven't used gimp in so many years. I remember it being a bit... unfamiliar... but now that I think of it didn't they make a "photoshop mode" or something?
never used resolve (I use final cut)
audio: FL Studio, Logix Pro lately too.

I respect what possible in FL, but ableton is way more intuitive imo, less focused on UX, but once user grabs a hold of the ableton workflow its more manipulative and easier to achieve audio 'tricks' and filtering, FL much easier out of the box tho

I think this kind of software tends to have a big learning curve like programming languages. It makes people stick to their tools of choice. This thread gives me an idea... < 100kb loop thread?

I've used to use Ableton and FL, i preferred FL for speed of laying down ideas. Also if you like both of them take a look at Studio One i used to use that too

I just made one but its not gonna be a great experience for others haha bico.media doesn't loop by default and its hard to get the vibe of a track in less than 100k

Gimp rivals photoshop IMO, Hotkeys are quite close to ps, its free with plugin support etc. resolve and ableton have a similar flow to them for me, floops is not for me, always been ableton since switching from impulse tracker, interface is stellar.
