Day 4 of leaving my phone home. The anxiety of not having it is gone. I do want to go on the internet. I will have to figure out how to amuse myself again. it's not too bad being free of it

The only part of it that gives me anxiety is not having a way to call for help if car trouble or something.. since there aren't any pay phones any more.. regularly go into dead zones, the internet connection is largely irrelevant to me
I did pick up a flip phone haven't activated yet. I don't know if I have ever called for help. I probably will take it with me if I travel outside my area. Thanks
even in a 'dead zone', if you call 911 (or hopefully whatever service you have does the same) it will connect you even through another network, so that's nice to have
