It's not a good (in the economic sense) because you can't own it. I don't think democracy is a good idea because I think people are individually better off not voting because the individual rewards of doing a good job voting are so low.

As a citizen, you have a right to a vote; maybe that can be inferred as owning.

How do you define "doing a good job voting"?
