Is this just a Twetch thread

the starting point was a twetch post. branch and replies are treechat posts (as I see them on whatsonchain), but the thread is tagged as twetch thread. Idk if that's intentional or a bug @metamitya

the root thread was from the twetch stream so the child threads are also in that stream even though they were written in treechat, not sure if this is the best approach but we will find out !flux11 a journey of exploration

Damn. This makes me more conscious about my digital footprint. People can dig up your past and roast you across platforms. I mean, people can do that now but this “everything on one b.chain” is a different mental lay of the land.

its true, the permanence definitely has a tradeoff... on the other hand you will be able to delete the content from the specific clients, so even though it will be onchain, you can limit who can access it and only the most motivated people will be able to find your "deleted" content ... practically speaking it might not be that different than the way archive.org works now

yea, i think its a cool demonstration of web 3 on bitcoin ... it's not perfect because we dont have identity protocols totally established yet, but it's a cool first step

I’m just glad to be a part of it early. I do want to know more about Tree Chat. Are you the only developer? When was it launched? Roadmap?

@arghzero and I are the founders. in its current form it was launched probably 2+ years ago, although it has existed in some form for like 15 years as a personal tool of mine... the roadmap is very dependent on what people respond to and do on the platform and what we can build to support those things although we obv have our own ideas and we will surprise you with those :)

originally they created Knovigator in 2022 and they rebrand to Treehchat I believe January last year

@metamitya Looking forward to those surprises! What you already have is amazing for a two man team. I’m enjoying myself learning about the platform. Recovering data from Twetch and Hodlocker is a real flex 💪🏽 The closest concept I came across of TC was Appics. They tried an upvoting system that didn’t workout in the end. I’m glad to see it working here !!!!
