for the same reasons that the legal threats in 2018 resulted in a loss of exchanges and a resulting loss of price/hashrate, will this legal threats carry forward the losing through the next halving cycle

the miner must also be willing to break the chain of signatures when nation states demand it, and must be able to run top of the line nodes. many cannot or wont.

Miners will do whatever gives them the most profit. It might take 8,12, 16 years,we can't know this,if miners want profits, they're going to have to optimize. Can BTC price rise forever? How many more 4 year cycles can it go through without proper utility?

dont you think that if it takes 8 or more years, the better play for someone who cares about bsv and wants to use money to develop bsv, that they should consider taking a btc position when the ratio is favorable?

There are other factors that are certain that will cause change. Regulation is speeding up due to interest on central bank digital currencies by central banks. The bigger the market becomes, the bigger the need to regulate it.

I'm already positioned in all markets, as any trader should do if prices reach areas of value. Traders can scalp these markets or they can take long positions/swings. It's up to preference. 2020 gave position traders good opportunity in March 2020 (covid).
