Crypto is suitable for people who were just born. Nothing to see here big waste of time
for anyone over 20. Invest in real estate. You’ll be better off

That is hogwash. Put a little money ($20) in something that is worth less than a penny. When it goes to forty cents or even a dollar, you have 20 or 30 thousand. 1 in ten will go there.

Twetch ·

Well please help me I have no clue my little crypto just goes down in past 2 years

Twetch ·

Same happened to me with Steem - went down to 0.12 and stayed there. But ten days or so ago, it went 2x - then almost three times that value. Most cryptos eventually rise and fall with BTC .
Which cryptos do you have?

Twetch ·

OGenie
Bsv now but not much and before was dgb which just has been falling badly. I just bought a little bit of link. Lost a bunch on Ltc. I guess I buy too high and am late to the party.

Twetch ·

BSV has gone up massively in value since the end of 2019.

Twetch ·

The problem is I did not have any until six days ago when I joined Twetch. I can put my private keys in and grab free bsv from the day it forked. I did that with Litecion Cash a month ago - was surprised to find more than 800 of them Free ($5 total)

Twetch ·

I see. I think the main problem with crypto is that everyone wants to be rich tomorrow but that is incredibly rare. Just buy what you can - when you can, contribute to the ecosystem with a portion of it, and keep living your life and enjoy the show.

Twetch ·

I have dgb too and I will hold it until it profits or disappears. I hold more than 60 coins - 5 have gone to the moon. The words "high" or "low" are relative terms. Today's micro tx is tomorrow's I.R.S convictions for some crazy new law.

Twetch ·

It doesn’t sound like you’re late to the party, it sounds like you sell too early. Just hold because if you keep trying to trade you’ll spend a fortune on fees and stress out when everything else moves up.

Twetch ·

Yeah but 2 years in Tesla stock was better 2 years of falling prices in crypto is poor investment. Even AMD stock was a better choice. I need to listen to my brother he is smart at picking stocks he makes lots of money and people pay him.

Twetch ·

I haven’t sold anything but I don’t have much money to begin with

Twetch ·

I don’t trade at all anymore. I just hold BSV and physical silver bullion. That’s it. It’s so much less stressful when you only “invest” (I don’t like that word) in like two things.

Twetch ·

I just assumed you sold because you said you lost money. I think 2017 gave everyone such high expectations that anything less than that is a disappointment. You have to be willing to wait multiple years and also willing to lose it all.

Twetch ·

When I first started trading I’d find the opportunities with the absolute least risk possible. When I’d get in profit I’d take my original investment out. The profit (house) money is then put into a new coin with least risk possible.... /1

Twetch ·

Eventually I had a decent amount of profit and was able to incur more risk. For instance. I’m out $240 into a coin that is so low value now but has key fundamentals and if it ever goes to .1 I’ll have $4.5 million. I don’t ever need to touch the coin... /2

Twetch ·

Because the $240 is profit from another coin I don’t worry about touching it until my target is reached or the fundamentals call for a change of course. You need to really hash out a short term and long term plan to leverage what money you have to invest.

Twetch ·

There’s a lot too it but if you break things down and have an actionable plan (perhaps in writing), stick to your plan & always learn from mistakes you’ll get there

Twetch ·

All markets have bull and bear periods. It’s up to you to learn how to identify these. Technical analysis on larger time frames is reasonably accurate. People make careers out of it.

Twetch ·

BSV went from like $50-$428 at one point, it outperformed Tesla. Crypto has produced way more gains than stocks could ever dream of. BTC went from pennies to $20,000, XRP went from half a cent to $3.80, and not to mention ETH, LTC, BCH and so many others.

Twetch ·

I got $20 of XRP when they launched the site. Forgot about it cuz it is a shit site. When I looked, I had missed selling at $3 +
I sold half of it at .40 - held when it went down. I still have the other half.

Twetch ·

I used to do the whole trading and selling thing but I don’t have the proper personality for that. I find more comfort in just squatting and going all in on one position. Lol.

Twetch ·

Lol. Maybe 50. The human brain isn't even fully developed until you hit about mid 20s. Trading and investing does require some experience. No one is born being good at this.
