Those critical of the 'Own Your Data' paradigm are too indoctrinated to see how things could be different - especially those who have benefited from the system that rewards 'popular' instead of quality.

It follows that those who have helped create this distortion where Popular > Quality would not criticize the current Internet model nor even entertain a different system.
Even if that system would make them more wealthy.
Work always beats stake so we don't need to focus on convincing these people. Instead simply continue to improve the quality such that the value proposition is so overwhelming that they have no choice but to join and compete..or they will become irrelevant
Twitter power users who are good at gaming the system will lose their influence in a world where truth trumps attention.
Of course, the companies behind these platforms (Twitter, Facebook, etc.), have the most to lose. Will they learn and adapt?
They actually have an incentive to oppose this new paradigm as it directly conflicts with the system that benefits them now.
In addition, they must start from zero by moving from a system where they benefit largely via Proof of stake to Proof of work.
@385 I hope they do not learn and adapt because I would rather see you and @4 crush them.
