We all create excuses about why we can't accomplish worthwhile things.

Those excuses always boil down to either "it's hard," or mere indifference.

But an excuse is only a request for permission to fail. Stop granting yourself that permission.

Know thyself.

Such a simple concept. But simple does not, despite many people's misunderstanding, imply that it is easy.

Most simple things are actually quite hard, because they are unforgiving.

This is so true. Sometimes I find myself complaining in my head, but I become aware of this voice and actively change my inner dialogue. "You're making excuses Steven, what do you really want?"
