I have a crazy neighbor who's threatening me about noise. Except, we aren't loud. We go to bed early, and were sure he's hearing other people. He just threatened to sue me and tried to fight me at my doorstep today. What do you think I should do?

You should carry a Go Pro camera whenever you are outside of your home walking to and from your car. Record every possible encounter. Contact the police and a lawyer. Do you live in an apartment complex?

Contact owners of complex and notify them of the abuse. Also wouldn't hurt to notify police and have them educate him or her about laws of harassment, aswell as how to properly handle there own issues.
Yes, you should report this to the apartment complex management and document all of your interactions. A friend of mine just went through very similar situation and he documented everything in order to break his lease and move out without penalty.
I have reported 12 months of interactions and me begging for management to do something. They refuse to help. I am breaking lease and they're going to chase me for the fee. Moving this weekend hopefully.
Tell them your leaving because they are not providing a save living environment, aswell as you feel at threat in your own home.

Yeah I did that.. They literally don't care. To leave I have to pay $3,000. I just had a panic attack at 3am and spent the night in the ER.
I moved out today. I sent a final letter to my landlord and they offered me a release. I have to sign away the rights to sue them, and they will allow my lease to go without me paying the $3,000 break fee.
Thats great news. Shouldn't have to live in a place where you feel unsafe and it is the corporate bodies job to make sure that everyone lives in a safe, maintained environment.
