Craig Wright can be a genius with important information who invented Bitcoin and still be someone with character flaws who you shouldn't trust. Bitcoin is a trustless system.

I've never sympathized with the belief that being Satoshi was inconsistent with being a flawed person.
Whenever people celebrate because of some scenario in which CSW seems to be caught lying, it always strikes me as an exercise in missing the point.

Yes it's missing the point. I'm just worried that people may be relying too much on craig in BSV.

The human condition is the endless search for a tangible God. Most people invent Christ figures when they have no Christ in their lives.

People are relying on Craig outside of bsv.. that’s why they’re gonna get rekt

Relying on him to lose his lawsuits?

There are big differences between people.

I believe in you @24 and I also believe in Craigh Wright as humans.
The fact, that Craig went all this way to restore his vision (he was rich already & likely to be richer) with a tiny follower base to really lock down the protocol is a signal to me.

The whole point is to not "rely" on any one person or even one group. The whole "rally to defend Craig" is as bad as the attempt to troll him. It is beyond my understanding. I thought Bitcoin taught us that.

Did people rely on Steve Jobs for Apples success? or was it Steve Wozniak ?
Is Craig a Wozniak or a Jobs?
Truth is, Apple carried on without them and is still the worlds most successful tech company.

I think @431 means exactly the opposite. As in people that are involved in Bitcoin (BSV) don't necessarily care about or understand why it's so important but rather are clandestine "Number-Go-Upper's".
*That's my interpretation anyway.

Jobs was even more crucial to Apple in comparison since it wasn’t open competition to fill his shoes. BitCoin is open to one or multiple of 8Bn candidates. Jobs had to choose between Cook and a couple others only.

You are right of course Jack, the point I was making is, even if you created something and make it successful, if the creation is good, it will carry on without the creator(s) on it’s own merit.

Yeah and just hoping he’s not satoshi... I thought the mantra within bsv is it doesn’t matter if he’s satoshi or not at this point.
