Count me among those. I voted left all my life, because I was pro free-speech, anti-war, etc. Also, had a much less sophisticated understanding of the world and the nature of the administrative state. I was imprisoned in the matrix.
The reason you see the flip is because the Managers switched the parties. The parasite jumped hosts. Mostly because Trump ran as a republican and for all his failings, Trump at least makes some of the right noises, and has some capability to act independently of the admin state... So the Managers came at him from the left, in the process eviscerating its pro-freedom, anti-war wing. Many principled people left then.
