I work hard every day to live up to my ideal conception of each of these values. I am not always fully successful, but I am always progressing towards that ideal.

Live with Purpose:
Be attentive, dedicated, and act with intention.

Experience the world as an active player, not a reactive or sedentary being. Truly pay attention to all I can.

Provide:
Create more than you consume. Know that value comes in many forms, most of which aren't measurable with a dollar sign.

Provide materially, and immaterially.

And, waste not. Design your life so your consumption is never in vain.

Build Meaningful Relationships:
Care, truly and deeply about those around me. Connect on a level beyond the usual, whether friend, family, or lover.

Give more than I receive, and take only that which is freely given.

Love, and be receptive to love.

Dedication to Truth:
We have but one tool to determine Truth from Falsehoods. That tool is reason. And while it is imperfect, being incomplete and subject to the limitations of my own mind and perceptions, I practice its use every day.

Cultivate Wisdom:
Look past the obvious, past that which is easily seen. Explore all of the implications of your beliefs and actions, and know in your heart that you cannot know or predict everything.
