why do we switch between 10 different chat tools?

why is there a difference between texting apps, group chat, forums, email?

i believe they are all flawed implementations of what we're all desperate to have... a valuable conversation

they're flawed bc they fail to model separate conversations as their own entity

these are single dimensional tools in a multi-dimensional world

when we think, we do not think about one thing

one thing always inspires another

this is true whether you are talking to yourself, ie. thinking or talking with another person, or in a group chat with multiple conversations being attempted simultaneously

knov is like slack if every conversation had its own channel

what do you do in a single dimensional chat if you are writing and your current line of thought INSPIRES a new line of thinking?
