Should Twetch and similar services (i.e. Streamanity) pay rewards in USD rather than bitcoin? (i.e. USD run on BSV) to keep rewards and costs stable?
My $50 I made on Streamanity is now about $30.
People require stability.

Id find this way less fun if it were for usd, this way im spending and recieving little bits of.shiney internet super gold instead of crappy paper.
Not controversial. Rational. Many would want stability, and with a stable $ coin on BSV, that would be helpful for those wanting to avoid volatility.
It’s kind of like some people wanting to earn a salary, some want to earn a commission.
Earning Bitcoin is the incentive. Anyone earning Bitcoin now, can choose to exchange to any currency worldwide. Stability is a future outcome, not a present requirement imo
I get that, but there are a lot of people more confident in the USD and it will stay that way for quite a while (despite what bitcoin enthusiasts believe), so having them use bitcoin and get paid with on chain USD will only help adoption.
Bitcoin will remain commodity money for a while. We need fiat (hopefully someday on chain tokenized USD) for those wanting stability. Stability is sometimes an incentive for investors/users.

If we create more reasons to earn Bitcoin compared to earning on chain stable coins then everyone wins.
It's on us to increase demand, desire and reasons why humans will want to earn Bitcoin over anything else in the future.

Yes, bitcoin will replace the dollar eventually, but NOT before it becomes very stable. Don’t forget, the mainstream likes stability and no one will change their mind on that. To get them hot for bitcoin, build stuff, like contracts, data storage, etc..
We need something like Maker/Dai on the BitCoin Blockchain.
Someday the US govt will just tokenize the USD on chain. Before that, they’ll be directly collecting sales tax from transactions. They can probably run on chain IRS audits before tokenizing the dollar, but both will eventually happen.
