In the current situation of collectivist hysteria it isn't very hard to figure out who that common scapegoat will be:
Those who don't want to give up individual rights, those who talk about freedom, those who don't take the vaccine, 'the selfish'.

Spot on and already in full effect. This will go from bad to worse faster than the common man in the street will be able to fathom.
Which country/part of the world are you in if I may ask?

I'm in South America.
I chose to come here a couple of years ago not because governments are any better here, they are not, but because here the state doesn't permeate the entire fabric of society.
The state is much further away from everyday life here.

Got it, cool. Contemplating such a move for the future. Eastern Europe comes to mind, before it's gone.
Where are you from originally?

Good luck.
Eastern Europe is probably not a bad choice. Even Russia is starting to look very nice in comparison with the rest of the world.
Crazy times.
My homeland is Freedom,
But I was born in exile ;)

Haha fair enough. Just curious.
Oh yes there are certain ex-soviet countries that I love. Lithuania, Estionia for example. Very appealing to me for multiple reasons. Never been to Russia, would love to visit.
