If Climate Change really is such a risk why are waterfront properties still worth multiples more than inland property?

Climate change is probably always a risk even if its just hurricane pattern changes but who cares the beach rules! I think they blow it way out of proportion like Covid. Warm weather would allow more global farming? 🤷🏻

I think it already is, plus higher concentrations of CO2 makes crops and trees grow faster.
