Those with children, what do parents think of how their children are or will be "attending" school this year?
My children will be doing class from home, 2-4 hrs zoom conferencing daily. They were lent Chromebooks and given material for study.

I have 4 kids my youngest son lives with me im going to keep him hoke right now i have no clue what nyc schools are doing but i cant take the chance of sending him because he has shkrt bowel syndrome. If i have no chlice of online classes ill home school

Im thinking maybe the schools will split the school into A and B groups. Having one group attend one week and the other do virtual but i dont know its just an assumption at this point.

My son's elementary school has a rotating schedule: half students there on Mon/Wed, other half on Tue/Thu, none on Friday. Idk which schedule he us on yet, but only 2 classroom days and 3 home distance learning. Its going to be a nightmare.

Where are you from? Usa ? Here in Brazil, there’s no expectation in reopening schools

I've had to work the entire pandemic. Initially, it slowed down but quickly rebounded and we've been extremely busy ever since, transportation/logistics industry. Minimal sicknesses reported at work, could've been seasonal flu, imo.

A 1-2% C19 mortality rate, children with lower rates of infection, schools should be fully open. This is our future's education politicized. At the end of the day, my children will be fine but I can't say the same for others. A very sad situation.

Yeah, a huge adjustment. I can't imagine single parents or both parents working and figuring out this situation. My wife's an at home mom so aside from all that work she does, I think we will be fine. I'll be teacher the 1st half of the day, her the later.

Our son returned to his martial arts summer program back in May w/o any issues. He is a child that requires structure and stability and I worry about how this will affect him and resent the political agenda driving it.
