The Foot Bridge Across The Atrium
I’m standing on a foot bridge in the atrium of a shopping centre that extends across the food hall. The sun is shining in through the glass, which exposes deep blue skies over head. The warmth feels comfortable on my skin & everyone arounds me seems to be happy. I’m aware of parents chatting & children laughing, but all I can think about is throwing myself over the railings & just ending myself.
