On-chain tracker tunes?!?! How did I not think of this! The files are so tiny.
Awesome job, everyone should check this one out.

I should probably apologize for saying "over the metanet airwaves" in my original post, as that may have given you the idea that the tunes are stored on-chain. Alas, this is a hobby project of mine, so maybe one day I can extend it to do just that!
Thanks so much, but at this point, the tracker files are not on-chain. I would LOVE to do that eventually, as you're right, they are small and perfect for archiving on-chain.
Right now, the website simply streams a SHOUTcast station, of MP3/.xm/.s3m/.etc
Regardless, it's a cool proof of concept! The UI is very pretty and the piping for tracker files wouldn't be too tough :D
Were you ever on the old 8BitCollective forums? All that music lost forever, on-chain systems could do wonders for chiptune artists.
Thanks again for the kind words :)
I wasn't an 8bc forum user, more a lurker, but yes, I can agree that on-chain archiving would be great. My concern with this is ownership rights/license. I would respect all tune artists, but unsure how to go about it.
Yes, licensing would be tricky. Some is freeware but ideally the artists would be uploading tunes themselves and each play/download would be a mircropayment split between you and the artist.
You could have a server-side file converter to download MP3s on the fly from on-chain tracker files!
Could be a tough niche to monetize but Battle of the Bits is very popular and could be replicated with micropayment voting.
Excited to see N2O's future!
These are great ideas! I agree that the niche is quite small, but I do love the scene, as those involved have a great passion.
I'll try to think more about these kinds of improvements, and hopefully I can ping you for feedback if I get farther. TY!
