You may be aware already, but I transferred from Computer Science to Neuroscience after 1 year of CS and an 8 month co-op term to go to Dalhousie University when they offered the first NS program in Canada. I studied drugs & behaviour & neuropharmacology.

I was interested in going into medicine, either become a doctor or work on medical tech, and neural interfaces for the disabled.
