On CBDCs:
look, we have fiat rn. It sucks for sure; we’d rather use BitCoin. But reality sometimes demands interim solutions which solve HUGE problems. Missing over a TRILLION in spending is kindve a big deal for me, when less than 20 years ago a trillion was more money than the USA had dollars. But let’s frame the potential problem

Not sure the accuracy of this news site, but you get the general picture. Governments with accountability > governments with ZERO accountability.
Added benefit: if CBDCs are done correctly, they take up space and increase the value of BitCoin digital token price, which then can lead to an actual asset-backed money again.
There no reason to fear CBDCs in the interim, altho fully admit some countries will do them wrong. The people won’t stand for it tho. So in reality I just don’t see oppressive CBDCs but totally could see an interim shift to non-intrusive CNDCs just to rid the world of some of this massive infra-government theft.
