Cats are interesting creatures. My Airbnb guests love my cat Picento, even though he's not particularly kind to them.
It's the scarce moments of acceptance that they find so valuable. Dogs are much less interesting in that regard. Too easily excited.

I originally got him to get rid of mice, which he did. We're good buddies and he doesn't demand too much attention.
