Maybe by 'capitalism' you mean the unholy union of state &central banks?

Communism doesn't work from the perspective of self-ownership, which requires property rights. However, it does work from the perspective of enslaving the many by the few. Conversely, voluntary free trade doesn't work from the perspective of enslavement.
