EXACTLY!! Have had NO Debt for years. We buy outright, including cars... debt cards only, no credit cards for years now. I still remember the feeling when we closed out all our debt... talk about feeling "free" 😛
Maybe they struggle with addiction to instant gratification from consumption? Consider modest debt on appreciating assets/calculable business growth. No debt for depreciating assets. It‘s just junk. Hyper efficient minimalism for the win.
