they make you buy btc to get bsv... its the only exchange in canada as far as I know.

If u use the noob mobile app to buy you can buy straight CAD/BSV but perhaps it’s more complicated in the background.

its just automated to convert the cash to btc then bsv... hence the high fee's.

I'm pretty sure if you have CAD in your account, then it'll let you trade CAD for BSV, if you don't then it won't give you the option. Again, I'm 100% sure, I've done it multiple times, unless they changed it since a few months ago.

well, I been on it since bsv split... had cad in my account and the only option is a quick trade cad/bsv... but that is a automated exchange that buys btc with the cad then trades it to bsv automatically.
There is no bsv to cad trading pair.

Yah quick trade is how you do it. It's not really a traders exchange, if you want to look at lines and rectangles it's not the place for you.
