Can someone please explain to me how privacy and transparency work together? I've heard that when you post stuff on the blockchain you own it, but if it is viewable by everbody, is my data not then readable by everyone, and thus public and not private?

Like how do I own my data, if people can just read it on the blockchain and thus copy it and then train their AI with it for free?

Will obvs tip for an anawer in plain english

When you Tweet, the data is stored on Twitter's servers, it's their property and they have the right to monetize it. When you Twetch, data is stored on BSV, which is owned by people instead of a centralized org, and the people monetize it by being paid BSV

And welcome to twetch btw

Twetch ·

Do note that you can post information to the blockchain which is /encrypted/, thereby owning private-information in a decentralized and public manner

Thank you and thanks.
What is the transparency component of bsv in regards to what you just said? The accountability component?

I followed you cool wavelength btw

Twetch ·

Not sure what you mean by accountability component
