Can anyone confirm whether Genesis will increase the amount of zeros after the decimal point?
1 sat/b will not be cheap enough for micro payments further down the line...

The amount of zeros will never change. The way micro-payments are going to get cheaper is by increasing the number of bytes you buy for 1 sat. Unchanging decimal amount means you will not be able to buy just one 1 byte's worth of storage.
