(noticed it is almost a fathomless depth of blackness, yet quite warm. There's an old expression—especially in oil painting, which goes something like "even the slightest drop of red will take over a canvas,"—no matter the scale. I mix my own black, and I use the hell out of Alizarin Crimson (when appropriate).
