Best bet is to get the silver eagles, or the 90% junk coins (pre 1964 coins) people will be looking for government mint

Nice. Thanks for the tip. I did end up picking some one ounce bars (idk why, but I love the bars), but my husband had started to buy old coins a few months ago. He noticed the price had gone up this morning, but I'll tell him he should keep at it.

Bars are good to have too. It's good to have a variety of bullion/coin. It's cool to even have those old 1920's Mercury Dimes... I love the history.

Get some Scottsdale Silver bars if you can. People love those and they would sell fast.

I will look into that! I wish I knew more about the history, but i just can't say much about it other than im glad our forks and bowls arent made from it anymore 馃槄
