What if BSV’s ability to save tons of high frequency data is the solution to Lightning Network’s constantly shifting channel states problem?

If states are saved constantly to BSV, LN may become viable without the need for trusted 3rd parties like Square.

LN can only be used “trustlessly” if you run your own nodes and RAID backup. Otherwise, you need a custodian.

But an addendum to saving BTC on BSV could be to actually make something like LN function. Not that it should...

But decentralized, permanent and easily streamed data like BSV offers actually does solve a major a technical hurdle that LN needs solved.

Of course whether this *could* be done is in opposition to whether it *should* be done.

But it does sound like something along the lines of what people have been saying for a few weeks about storing all of BTC on BSV for the sake of accessing it forever.

Fossil project comes to mind. If someone builds this, kick me back for the idea 😂

Just use BSV no need to involve blockstream.

I agree. It’s just something that occurred to me.

Very good idea.
