they tried. buying wordperfect, and groupwise. they were going to take down the gorilla. but we all know how this story ends.... I bet your law firm still has a copy of wordperfect somewhere.
NT wasn't perfect.... but you knew that feeling of inevitability. that look on the red snake on the screen, with uptime into the hundreds of days. Soon, uptimes would be judged by how recent it was restarted rather than by number of uptime days.
