BSV: 2gb blocks
2.000.000.000 bytes per 10 mins
a tx is 250 bytes
2.000.000.000/250/ 10 / 60 =
13333 tx per sec
or 1.151.971.200 tx per day (1.1 billion)
Roughly 365 Billion tx per year
This year digital payment tx were expected to hit 700+ billion tx

a data transfer rate of 500 Gbit/s for each wavelength would result in an overall transmission capacity of more than 50 terabits per second (Tbit/s: 1 Tbit = 1000 Gbit).
So Nokia and M-net seem to suggest onland speeds can be reached of 50 terabits/8= 5+ terabytes per second. Which is 300 tb per min, or 3000 terabyte per 10 min.
So if this is correct and please correct me if I am wrong, what is BTC going on about not
scaling onchain? Imagine that through fees and competition miners will have to reinvest in datalines, they become massive entitities enforcing innovation on fibre cables and new technologies.
As Satoshi mentioned, it will likely never hit a scaling ceil
