I read that a while back. I agree with some of it but I think people vastly underestimate the potential of quantum computers and machine learning with probabilistic programming to find and exploits flaws in the game theory or in the tech stack.
For example, one may use QC or ML to find weakness in the social network and exploit people to manipulate the price. And I think people already do this with bots that are becoming more powerful with ML to sell a certain narrative.
Anyways the paper linked above basically says nature is infinite and there is no way to really understand infinite systems in terms of a finite representation (embedding). The philosophical implications are interesting and this is a brand new paper.
