It breaks my heart when I fail to control my anger, when I let my emotion get the best of me. But I promise to never give up on myself, to never stop striving to be better in all aspects of life.

It's about:
- Verbally hurting someone
- Physically intimidating or attacking someone
- Negative self-talk
- Neglecting one's own needs (ie: self-care)

There is no dualism. There is simply behavior.
>"fail to control".
I suspect that behavior is very well controlled when presented with the "trigger" while standing next to a group of police officers.
If that's true (ie: only getting "angry" when NOT in front of police)...it proves control.
Therefore it is not about "fail to control". It's actually the opposite. It's extremely good control. (Good control of terrible actions).
Childhood trauma does that to us - Automatic Negative Thoughts (ANTs). For men the disrespect button gets pushed/triggered. Start shrinking the button (humility) and snip the wire (respond with kindness). Not easy but helpful to others and yourself.
