Hard to deny. The Dragon is a symbol of pure selfishness. Hoarding treasures for no good reason, burning to ashes anyone in its way of getting what it wants, with no regard for ethics whatsoever.

I think the Dragon (Satan) is a representations of the body, the (talking) serpent (Lucifer) represents the mind and the dove or lamb represents the soul (Christ).

The motto of the body is "do as thou wilt". The mind adds "if you can get away with it and convince yourself that it's alright"

The soul, on the other hand, is all about "treat others the way you would want to be treated".

Maybe ... as far as Satan is concerned ... Lucifer ... the Devil ... phonetically each word has a different nuance yes ... and etymologically they represent a different meaning with certain characteristics in relating to existence ... If you then add the elements of the animal kingdom such as the Dragon, the Serpent, the Goat, here are other ideological structures, but we want to go further and why not consider semiotics and above all esoteric symbolism which has a strength and importance that are not negligible, a simple symbol can convey forces and energies as well as entire concepts ... and here the complexity prevents us from having a clear picture of how things are and work ... As far as I'm concerned they are all instruments of a very ancient and strong entity be it Lucifer, Satan or any other name, In my path I initially respected it as I am required to do in my ethical system ... but over time it proved to be an entity exaggeratedly hostile to me and I felt disrespected ... A spiritual war followed but it left scars even in my flesh ... It has not no one won... But now I honestly don't care much anymore...

Let me just add that when I talk about these entities on the level of symbolism, I am in no way trying to attack a more literal interpretation.

In fact, if Satan, Lucifer and Christ are literal beings, I'd expect them to be represented inside of us.

And also vice versa: if they are just symbols for the different parts we are made of, I'd expect them to be very powerful energies, indistinguishable from entities, on the collective level.

If most of us are dominated by mind and body, the sum of all of us would make entities like Lucifer and Satan very real in society.

Just like a world in which a large majority is dominated by the soul would most certainly very much create an energy/entity that would be Christ.

A symbolic interpretation is complimentary to a literal, not in opposition to it.

Absolutely yes ... As I have had the opportunity to say several times here, I have built the ability to travel a lot on a spiritual level through dream journeys that are for me in all respects identical to "this reality" also not in antithesis but complementary to it ... and I'm not saying this to be cool but simply because it is my Real existence ... It is not the work that was asked of me but it is what I have taken the responsibility to carry out ... in these journeys (thousands) some are more incredible and intense than others .... among these I have had the opportunity to meet aliens of at least a couple of very different types ... Jesus himself ... dragons (also of 2 different races), Lilith, Satan, Mephistopheles and they were different and unique identified like codified by the name that we attribute to them ... As for your speech on the fact that they are projections of what humanity has inside and expresses in a more or less marked way, I absolutely agree ... and to conclude I find that our points of view are also complementary and in no way in contrast ....
