Human rights organizations warn refugees considering fleeing to the UK and EU countries: "Chances of getting arrested for having opinions may be greater in the UK than in your country of origin."

"If you want to escape the Taliban, for example, you may want to consider non-EU countries as a destination, or you might end up in prison for posts on social media or prayer. In fact, you may want to evaluate first if your country of origin isn't a safer and more free place altogether."
