It boggles the mind that in times of one collectivist onslaught after the other no effective opposition has formed around the idea of individual rights. The collectivists not only miraculously escape being unanimously perceived as the anti-individual-rights-people, they even get away with calling their opponents enemies of freedom and individual rights. Once again I blame the right, which is unwilling to to take a strong individual rights position because of its own half-conscious collectivism.
