Blockstream is setting up its private exchange with ring CT along with tether. One could speculate that if Craig sells his 8bn$ worth of BTC this could easily be absorbed by the exchange and purchased at full price using tethers printed out of thin air...

Sure... But then they can never sell that bitcoin or price collapses.
Craig will obviously trade BTC/USD, not BTC/USDT..
Also it will not be worth $8B. I doubt he will get even triple digits for the last coins..
It would be with printed money so they would not lose anything. The alternative if they let Craig crash the market then the btc they do have is worth nothing
It doesn’t matter what he trades the BTC for as long as they can pump the market to counter act it
They can print $10B but they still need USD to support the BTC to USD sales..
