I don't even know what that is. What do they get for it, and what is the actual proof of work? Who pays the reward? I'm legit smoothbrain but I love this shit so I should prolly learn, or just @0 more

There is probably someone way more technical than me that can answer this. Although my interpretation would be a Bitcoin block is mined approximately every 10 minutes and the miner who solves the hash puzzle is awarded a block reward subsidy (out of the 21 million) and records the data within the mined block on the bitcoin blockchain. They are getting paid for continuing the chain

Who holds all of the mined blocks? I know we don't all have the 19M coins in circulation. At least my broke ass doesn't. Hey @292 , where do the mined coins go after they're mined?
