It leads to hoarding, and a lack of innovation due to there being no incentive to invest (you're better off holding).

It has a higher Gini index than NK.

You use your iPhone in that year; it provides value to you the more you use it.

It's also not fungible.

@Alex - the only reason I’m using BSV as the currency (and what’s stopping adoption) is because there aren’t any services automatically converting BSV to USD in the background at this point in time
