I shouldn't be ranting about this like it's 2017. But seriously. The _most basic_ feature of Bitcoin is that it transforms the artificial-digital into something with a finite supply that isn't subject to human whims. How does that not blow your mind
If you base your money on an artificial supply that you can print infinitely, humans will always be tempted to print more. Always. Gold's difficulty to obtain meant the supply wasn't subject to human whims. It could actually hold a signal.
