BTC can have $10000 fees. nothing is stopping it. 🤔

Furthermore, the value of money relates to the future economy (production, or asks). If production declines due to climate troubles, so does the SHA256 hashing.

It can't sustain any fee level above a couple of percentage points. During short periods, fees can sky rocket though.

The users of money suffers the total costs of that money.

10k fee would indicate >10% cost on using the money if replacing gold and fiat currencies. The market picks something else.

yep. perhaps one day people will see the flaws in btc and eth but for now number go up + banks for the transfer seems good enough for the world.

you have some fundamental misunderstanding. Yes the banks will charge fees for custody and sending of the BTC they hold on behalf of their customers.

Banks have to profit, and charge clients more than incurred settlement fees. 10k fee with 1M txs/day is almost 4T/year. That's way more expensive than fiat, so people won't use it.

The other way. the bank will say do 10000 txs a day and then settle ONCE for whatever the btc fee is

Maybe at that point the system will be so interconnected even these infrequent settlements will be batched too
