The biggest mistake positive people make:

Bulldozing.

It's when you completely lie to yourself and ignore how you feel (and ignoring how others feel too)

If you can't be honest about how you feel, how can you ever be authentic and trust yourself?

People can pick up on inauthentic vibes. Having a positive mindset is a great attribute, and the process has to go as follows:

Step 1. Awareness and acknowledgement of how you ACTUALLY feel

Step 2. THEN choose a more positive and empowering mindset

Step 3. THEN Come up with/offer solutions to the problem.

A lot of mentors and coaches mean well, however they're lacking in emotional intelligence and empathy.

They skip to step 2 or 3 and then wonder why the other person is defensive and resistant to the advice or feedback.

To be a great coach is to genuinely listen to and connect with people. That starts with making them feel seen and understood.
