What would be better for those who control the US? A Harris administration that makes everyone wish they had voted for Trump (and that would be very likely), or a Trump administration that is faced with all kinds of catastrophic events (be it an economic/financial meltdown, civil unrest or war) that makes people realize that even Trump can't make sure things get better? If I had to bet, I'd say Trump will win and his victory won't bring a return of prosperity and peace, but further decline and war.

Iran was on the list of countries that the central planners need to be taken down for a long time. Now, right before the election, Israel is escalating the conflict in the region to the point of no return. Israel-Donny is the perfect choice to do the dirty work. He is the one who can get the conservative patriots up in arms to "defend the West" or whatever.
I'd still far rather Trump - a peacemaker - handled any potential war.
I understand that. And I think TPTB see it the same way and chose him to do the dirty job, maybe without him even knowing. Time will tell.
