What is the best protocol for linking this to my social zettelkasten quest? I could of course just copy and paste, but how could I do this that preserves a connection to your quest? I could paste the link? But further, how could I do this in a way that notifies the quest owner? I could then backlink by commenting on this quest with a link to my social zettelkasten quest....

one way you could do this is by branching off a search, finding the answer you wanted to link, and quoting it.
actually... you might not be able to at the moment, bc it's not searching public quests! I'll fix and let you know soon.
no, i'm wrong you should be able to do it because you're searching your own quest...
something like this: https://www.loom.com/share/35b28c22ddba40a1861ea31c780303f3
im still working through this workflow because there are different "streams" that you're searching: your own quests, potentially team quests, and public quests, also right now the quoting does not create a back link which would notify the user, but this will be done shortly
@hungrybreadelevator what tools do you use for "social zettelkasten quests"?
Great question. Right now I just use Knovigator and Twitter.
To visualize my twitter threads I use this tweet graph: https://obrowne.eu/tweetGraph.html
All my classic zettelkasten notes I have taken are stored in a folder of plaintext files.
To search this I sometimes use houdahspot. In the past I've used the Archive (which I like) to take notes and connect.
I would like to use the graph visualization of obsidian (markdown), but I have too many notes and the graph always chokes.
So right now if a trail on knovigator leads me down a path that I know I've walked with my zettelkasten then I will fetch those notes and bring them in here.
But I haven't made anything public yet that functions as a navigable zettelkasten, besides my tweet threads. And knovigator is the one facilitating that now.
Can you elaborate on the distinction if any between your public quests and your Archive?
