am I right to think that a simple privkey allows you to sign but not encrypt and encryption requires a xprv ? the software crashes if I try to open the encrypt/decrypt with a single imported privkey

mmh just verified and it shows that you can sign a message with the 1JT address.. but a signed message is not the same as an encrypted one. But of course both require the private key... I have no clue 😂

@marquee your signature only proves you have access to the private key. How does that help us?

@194 A private key can sign and encrypt a message. No need for XPRV. I think you will solve it. 😉
