So cool!!! Just gave me a rush of memories playing with a Timex Sinclair 1000. Never had a Commodore 64 but it was greatly coveted!
just bought a Commodore Amiga 500 as well and the owner gave me 3 more Amigas for free and software just because I bought the first one for $60. One Amiga is not working, but I can use for parts. How awesome is that.
Pretty awesome. One of club members has an amiga, we've been trying to work a deal so I can buy it with crypto
lol well done, why did he have 4 Amigas?
Any with a FULL 1MB RAM?
this guy is a computer hoarder and has like 10 apple IIe 's and he does not have time to do it all. He actually gave me a memory expansion kit as well. Or i think that is what it is. It might also be a real-time clock?
read the numbers off the chips. will clue you in to its functionality. That looks like one big leaky battery ready to happen though
Gotta have that to play most games after 1987 馃槅 oh the memories...
MCM514256AP80 UQQAL8944 times 4
and
1 x M6242B 9Y1006
that would be 4 4bit ram chips and a 4 bit real time clock. https://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/view/11260/OKI/M6242B.html

Thanks mate, that is an unexpected free bonus.馃榾
Just wonder where to connect the 3 wires coming from the board. Will figure it out somehow.
yeah bro If thats a battery I would unsolder it from the board because at that age they are prone to leak. The wires probably were to recharge the battery. The real time clock and static ram on the board need a battery to store the time and date
PT2. so best bet is find a similiar rated battery (which i wouldnt) or just a new battery of similiar voltage and house it with double sided velcro to the inside wall and run a wire to old battery terminals
I hear you. Although this one looks fine. I need to open up all these amigas and probably recap tgem anyway.
