For the first time in my life I have also planted some peas…

For the first time in my life I have also planted some peas. I see that some pods have shaped so now I have to find out when is the ideal moment to harvest them. They are highly nutritious powerhouses providing mainly fiber, protein, vitamins A, C and K.

A fun fact is that peas are technically both legumes and fruits. Legumes as they grow from seeds and fruits as they are produced from the ovary of a flower and contain seeds.
