Why Lucretius, On the Nature of Things Book 6? There Lucretius discusses the Plague of Athens.

I'm not recommending this for use in an environment with time constraints, syllabi, grades, etc. I'm recommending this for personal use.

We should give ourselves permission to explore and wander through fragments. We should be able to encounter readings exactly when we want/need them, and it would be nice if somehow we also found friends who there to meets us too.

Notes to work out

hungrybreadelevator ·

reading inbox could be twitter threads or make that a separate project start it and tell people later use knov as an intermediary phase link to twitch knowledge worklink to vgr and drew Hoffmanlink to incremental reading synthesize key points in a Instagram postor color code based on the project or kind of idea or both image of book with color code tint

Should these be streams? Streams seem more official tho. With email notifications. A lower bar for entry could be just following by adding your username to a post to follow updates to the thread.

hungrybreadelevator ·

Also this would require knovigator account and knowledge of how to use knov

hungrybreadelevator ·

But this would require a hub note that needs to stay there so people can stay notified. And also the hub note clarified how and where to follow.

hungrybreadelevator ·

Streams helpfully can be brought to the reader without them having knov experience because you can add their email. But that’s manual and does require them giving you their email.

hungrybreadelevator ·

what if you could add their Twitter username?

hungrybreadelevator ·

then when you syndicate (when you tweet) their names are in the mentions and they are notified

TSS

hungrybreadelevator ·

this is a new model that has to be pushed before it can be pulled so if I’m tweeting on a given subject it’s in my interest to collect usernames of people I think will be interested via search or if they have interacted with me in this subject in the past

Examples of people already doing semi synchronous versions?
