Without the seed there is not even a possibility of growth, but without water and sun, it would not happen either, those are more lenient parameters though, because you can have a little of a water and the tree will still grow, but you cannot have a little of a seed. It also needs a good soil, and some wise would say that all of it wouldn't exist without God creating all things.
